Recently, our company received an urgent inquiry from a customer. The customer reported that the material surface quality produced by the saw blade on a cutting device they were using failed to meet product standards during the manufacturing process, thereby disrupting the overall production schedule. As a result, the customer urgently requested our company to promptly provide new saw blades and arrange delivery services to address this critical issue as soon as possible.
After thorough communication, we clearly identified the customer’s specific requirement for the saw blade—4554.025.4120T. This blade was specially selected by the customer to match their newly introduced large-scale cutting equipment. Compared to the previously used 3553.225.4120T model in their older machinery, the new blade boasts significantly improved specifications. However, after the installation and initial testing of the new saw blade, the customer raised concerns about the price change: Why is the cost of this blade higher than before?
In response to the customer’s concerns, we immediately assembled our technical team to conduct a thorough analysis and provided a detailed explanation of the product upgrade. Since the customer has recently purchased a newer equipment model that features a larger size and enhanced cutting capabilities, the accompanying saw blade must also be upgraded accordingly. Specifically, the new saw blade boasts an increased diameter—from 355mm to 455mm—and its cutting radius has been expanded by 100mm, significantly broadening its processing range while improving versatility and cutting performance. Structurally, the base steel plate thickness has been upgraded from 3.2mm to 4.0mm, dramatically boosting the overall strength and resistance to deformation of the blade, thereby ensuring stable operation even under heavy-load conditions. Additionally, the alloy layer on the toothed section has been thickened by 0.8mm, which not only enhances cutting efficiency and improves the smoothness of the finished surface but also substantially extends the service life of the saw blade.
